About this event
Subject Leaders – So what next for my curriculum subject?

During the summer, Ofsted published several subject reviews. Each review will be followed up later this term with further information around their deep dives! These workshops (we have courses for each subject) have been written to provide an opportunity for subject leaders to engage in a professional reflection upon the key messages shared within each subject report and the implications for the curriculum and subject leaders. Each report focuses upon what makes for high quality education in each subject area and are written to support subject leaders to reflect upon the principles of effective curriculum design.

About this event
If developing self-regulating, independent learners is your goal, then this workshop is a must!

With the challenges of catch up and loss of learning, developing pupils’ ability to plan, monitor and evaluate their own learning is key. Metacognition is a hot topic and of much interest to teachers in our schools, but how do we implement it into our classroom/school? This session will help teachers to unpick 'Metacognition' and what is means to develop pupils’ metacognitive knowledge and behaviours. Colleagues will consider and review a range of practical strategies and activities that can be implemented in the classroom to promote and support pupils' learning

Cost: £40 + VAT
