Science: Preparing for Primary Science National Curriculum 2014  
With the introduction of a new National Curriculum from September 2014, this course aims to support both curriculum design and assessment and to strengthen the subject knowledge of primary science teachers. Staff will be made aware of science curriculum policy, and of common misconceptions and will learn about the key concepts in science. They will consider how best to develop the skills required to 'work scientifically' and will be signposted to a range of resources and strategies to support the effective delivery of science at Key Stages 1 and 2.

This one day course is aimed primarily at English leaders and specialists. Dialogue for Thinking is an introductory course in getting started as a facilitator of dialogic enquiry. It is used as a model for P4C enquiry, and includes workshops on facilitation, question quality, working with concepts, sustaining practice, as well as exploring resources and planning.
