HLTA - Introductory Session (Cancelled)  
Audience: Middle/Senior Management Team & Teaching Assistants. HLTA is a status for Teaching Assistants who work at a high level supporting learning and teaching and have demonstrated they meet the 33 HLTA Standards. This briefing session introduces TAs to the context of the HLTA standards and how they are reflected in the everyday work in school; and then explains the process of the 3 Day Preparation for Assessment and the HLTA Assessment for attaining the status. Learning Walk - Positive Learning Attitudes  
Delegates will gain an understanding of the whole school approach used to initiate the porject successfully, share practical examples of how this was initiated and discuss ideas on how to personalise Posititve Learning Attitudes in their own settings. Ofsted commented very favourably on the positive outcomes of this initiative. Examples of resources shared with parents and children will be available to take away at the end of the session.
